Getting the Perfect Dining Set For the Home

A dining set is a particularly sensible item to apply some extra money to. At the dining table is where family moments happen, where homecomings are celebrated, and where friends are permitted to feel welcome. Remember, though, when you purchase that dining table, you’ll require some cash for groceries also. Each of the dining sets discussed below has been evaluated as a 7-piece set and includes a cherry wood finish, although they fluctuate in style and expense, so ideally one of them is going to work for you. A nice item for you to consider is the Black End Table.

Ethan Allen is a universally known furniture manufacturer, as they consistently make top-quality home furnishings at particularly reasonable prices. In Ethan Allen’s case, by the way, “reasonable” does not necessarily equal “cheap” – it only implies that you should be realizing your money’s worth. This company’s Maison dining line looks like 18th century France although it will last far into your grandchildren’s generation. This cherry wood dining table comes with a scalloped apron, cabriole legs, and a plank-effect tablescape.  The corresponding wheat-back chairs are obviously French provincial in fashion, with gracefully carved sheaves of wheat filling the back rest. The cabriole legs compliment table, while the upholstered seat is offered in fabric or leather for elegant comfort.  This is a beautiful and well made dining set, and while the $3600 price tag for the table along with six chairs will seem very high, this Maison collection is worth every Treasury bill.

If you would like a smart dining set, but can’t manage such a steep price, maybe Meijer can allow you to furnish your dining room in a more affordable manner. The Dixie 7 piece dining set uses dark wood inlay accents as well as a lovely cherry finish. The legs are graceful and angled, and the corner edging offers a modern touch to this very traditional table. Four coordinating side chairs and two arm chairs all boast some stylish rail chair backs and particularly comfortable microfiber cushions which look good and clean up quickly. For around $850, this set could play nicely with many different decors and can look stunning with a Christmas ham on top. Also, take a look at the Black Round End Table.

JC Penney rounds off our selection with their Cameron Place dining set, which is a well-crafted and solid mid-level dining set. The 7-piece group has a cherry finish 72″ table which is made to extend to 90″, two arm chairs and four side chairs, each one of which offer easy-to-clean polyester cushions and distinctive crisscross backs.  The complete set is designed from rubberwood, a kind of hardwood harvested from Southeast Asia which boasts some great density and durability.  $1600 will bring this set into your dining room, and then you may employ it for a generation of Sunday dinners.

If you are ready for a formal dining set, one of those above is made to suit your priorities. As with all other home furnishings, you always want to get the best product you can afford – just make sure you can really afford it. You may also want to look into the Round End Table.
